Good chose for chopper, ussop, and robins magic.
Chopper alread knew a little, ussop could use it to store more items and increase the power of his special slingshot, and robin's personality suts script magic perfectly and with her devil fruit powers she can cast multiple one at ones and anywhere around her.
However, guildarts do you raily think it is a good idea to teach luffy how to destroy anything!?
As for sanj I don't see him learning ice make magic, unless he think he can use it with his feet and complement his fiery kicks.
The reasons why sanj only uses his legs and feet in battle is because he dose not want to derty his hand. So I think the cook would try to use magic that he could use with out his hands, or help him in the kitchen.

As for brook, frankly, and mably chomper,and luffy. Instead of trying to copy magic from someone else in the guild they sould try to find magic that complement them. The Strawhat Pirates alread know how to fight and are extremely strong. Place chances of them serpaseing there teachers magic is very slim. So there best bet is to find magic that can complement their fighting style and skills.
Franky- he could learn wood make magic, some kind of metal magic, or add magical lacrima or items to his cyborg body. Wood and metel magic can complement is shipwright skillets extremely well, and knowing his genius adding magic object to his body and fighter out how use it in combate.
Brook- could learn song magic consider he is a skilled musician or some type of soul based magic with the powers of his devil fruit it would be easy.
Chomper- I think part of the reason why the next step of tack over magic is so hard might be do to your devil fruit. With his power it's like Chomper Is constantly under tack over. So what if he uses it to acsses his other 7 forms and the mental aspect to master his monster point.
Luffy- my I suggest he learn Titan magic so he can use third gear techniques with out deflating or have a huge strain on his body. Or something similar to or help with Haki.

P.s hope you Show luffy useing some accsidentl Haki. Even though luffy doesn't know Haki even exist, but he can still using burst unknowingly like in the manga around this time.

However, I could also try useing magical items. Look at mysticiron abd Loki for some examples. They did not cast a singal speel, but they were able to use magic with tools.

As for the stew hats best option right now is to either form or join a guild until they get back. The straw hats Need both money and information if they're going to stay for a long time, buy stuff, and lock for a way back.
