Mena’s speech was badass. I really love her character. It’s rare to find a strong minded female protagonist in the twilight fandom so this story was much appreciated. I can’t wait to see how the rest unfolds.

I just found this story, and I have to say I really like it. Though I'm pretty confused. Up until this chapter, Mena had expressed more than a few times of her disappointment with Bella's actions, but she didn't speak up about it at all -despite her being an honest and blunt person in general. It was all just swept under a rug. Not only Mena -why did all of them coddle Bella so much? Exactly like the original story. People just fell to her wishes. Bella wasn't a kid anymore. She often didn't think things through, was also often selfishly curious, without regard to others' accounts. And everyone just went with it. For God's sake, Bella needed to learn and control herself. Even one has to have a limit on being naive.

I'm so excited for Desdemona! I think that would be so interesting to do a demigod in the Mortal Instruments world. Have you thought about doing a crossover for The Maze Runner or The Hunger Games series? I think those two would be so cool/fascinating to do with a demigod because with the Maze Runner there would be so much tension (though it might end up sorta like Hero of Olympus w/Percy and Jason's missing memories) and The Hunger Games would just be like insanely cool.

Wish you would change the plot instead of following the Twilight timeline. I feel like Mena is doing stupid shit and shoving herself into the spotlight just so that we can read canon events, but with her saying a few extra lines here and there.

This mindset Bella has, that Mena is the same as her, that she would hide and leave the others to do the work for her, is so irritating! Trough the whole story Mena has shown a worrier stand, so what makes Bella think that she would hide! So frustrating! Love the story, but as you can read, I am not a Bella fan... she was just to weak and stupid to trust and depend on Edward as much as she did from the start! Not one bit of distrust towards Edward! I am glad that you have kept that mindset to Bella in this story, because it shows what a real strong character Mena is!
