Finally got my Jelsa fix. This is very depressing but I like the many layers you added to their separation. Obviously it is not an easy situation for either Jack or Elsa (poor Lucas :( ) but despite being heartbreaking, Jack is trying to do what he thinks is best. I don't know why I am on an angst kick lately but this certainly satisfied that craving.

This is both beautiful and sad! Ahhh I really need another chapter! This is WAAAAYYY to good to be a one shot! I almost cried... you should really write a story because the plot is amazing and it takes a lot to blow my mind with a one shot as great as this!

*Gasp* good God that is terribly heartbreaking *sobs a bitthat's my son, and my girl, but that's not my life". wow you really know how to make people cry, can I just say that if this is a one shot its a pretty darn good one, but if you were to make it into an actual story I would read it till the very end, great job with this, really. *cries some more*

OH MY GOSH! This is SUCH a great and sad story..or oneshot i'm not really sure but it was definatly fantastic nonetheless :-) I absoultley LOVE your Jelsa fanfics. THEY'RE JUST SO GOOD! And when I saw you'd written another one I was SOOOOO EXCITED!

Wow that was beautiful. Are you trying to make me cry? Because it worked. That's a heart wrenching to be in.

This seriously broke my heart...

So basically you ripped my heart out, stabbed it a few times, then threw it on the ground and stomped on it, before you poured some gasoline on it and lit it on fire. Then you handed the remains back to me and laughed in my face. That's how I feel after reading that last line... *10 mins of uninterrupted gross sobbing*

How could you do this to Jack! My poor baby boy! This story is so beautiful but just so painful!

It was bad enough that he had to break up with her, but after she told him she was pregnant... That was outright cruel! All he'd ever wanted was right there within his reach and he had to give it all up. And I know that Elsa realizing why he did what he did makes it better but it's still so sad, cause Lucas will probably never know who his dad is and Jack will never be able to spend time with his son. When I read the part where Lucas is sledding with Kristoff, my heart just broke cause Jack must have looked at his little boy's happy expression and thought "This should be me playing with him." He sacrificed not only being Elsa but every single aspect of fatherhood and the saddest part is that he did it out of love.

And that last line really gets me because it shows how close to happiness he was and it was all taken away from him in an instant and there was nothing he could do to change that, simply because he was born in a life he didn't ask for.

This is such a brilliant one-shot and I loved it so much even though it broke my heart!
