I've always thought Joshua Graham is such a great character with so much depth left unexplored. I hope you keep Updating. I've always felt bad that I didn't have good enough speech to talk him out of killing the tribal war Lord guy.

God, let me just say again how much I love this. My favorite line would have to be: 'Daniel looks at him for a few seconds, gauging, trying to put this into words that won't offend or upset unnecessarily.' It's truly a great reflection of Daniel's character. Despite the atrocities Joshua committed in the legion, Daniel approaches this (no doubt) sensitive topic to Joshua with caution. You're fleshing out the dynamic between these two wonderfully. :)

I've always been curious as well about the relationship between Daniel and Joshua so it's great to see a fic exploring this dynamic. :) You've done a fantastic job capturing each of these character's personalities just in this first chapter.
