Waiting on part 3!

Um, I'm not a big fan of Todo's character. But gotta admit the way Yukio and Todo interact always amused me almost as much as Yukio and Shima's. Anyway, yet another good chapter! And reading these stories now feels like reading all possible predictions of the next chapters.

This totally sounds like something our dear Yukio could be capable of doing now that he's actually joined the Illuminati, lost any restraint and (at least so it'd seem) acting without a care in the world.

These chapters are so perfectly in line with the current, unhappy canon events they're hard to read. Worth it, but hard. As in canon, Yukio here is doing his best to make me (and, likely, everyone in the story) dislike him. But, it's all so in-character. The opening scene with Shima and the other former students' dismissal of him felt like a page of the manga I somehow skipped. And, amid all the character drama, the mystery of the mountain and Durga/Parvati is building.

Also, that moment when Shiemi just smiled and deflected Yukio's question was so classic *Yukio* it was terrifying.

Oh, it's good to see this back! Even if Yukio continues to alternately chill, frustrate, and fascinate me. Which he does in canon, so that's not at all a knock on your writing. You capture him beautifully. I'll be very curious to see where all this leads.

Yep, I'm creeped out. Of course, any trip, however brief, into Toudou's head is guaranteed to do that. The man is a poison. Ah, and this was another fascinating and frightening snapshot of what could be.

Dangit, Yukio, you drank the Kool-Aid!

Wow. This is a wonderfully written, chilling piece. Yukio is so in-character it's terrifying. And, it all builds so perfectly to that ending. Everything from Yukio's feigned gentleness (yes, worry about Godaiin hurting himself *after* you've done nothing to stop him falling in the floor) to the way he speaks about Rin. And then, Yukio starts babbling Lucifer's nonsense and Godaiin has that memory of his uncle, and all the ominous hints come together.
