My only concern with your writing is sort of in dialogue and knowing who's talking. Generally you'd have one dialogue block for one person and mention that they've said something and only then write the action of another character, OR if not writing that the first character has said something because it's obvious it's their turn to speak in the conversation - then you'd put an action by another character in another paragraph.

E.g

"I just need you to keep Dumbledore at the game. Slow him down or something, just in case something goes wrong." Blaise blinked.

In this case it should really be either:

"I just need you to keep Dumbledore at the game. Slow him down or something, just in case something goes wrong," Harry said. Blaise blinked.

OR

"I just need you to keep Dumbledore at the game. Slow him down or something, just in case something goes wrong."

Blaise blinked.

If you get what I mean, haha! Apologies for the correction - I do love this story so much though! Loved this chapter too, with the Harry/Hermione developments. I like their fierce sticking togetherness.

I really liked your initial angle with Harry and Blaise maybe being best friends? But in this chapter it seems like Harry feels he has no friends in his year?

This is great. Perhaps try to shorten your author notes. Yuh definitely absolutely want to plan things out if you have any intention Of finishing this. If you don’t, you’ll end up with plot holes, Continuity errors, timeline issues, forget to add certain plot elements, get lost, and adding way more than needed. There’s probably more things I could list.

I’m asking you to plan things out before you come back with an update for this.

It's reeeally amazing! And so thrilling! You definitely converted me to it. And I like how freaking scary you made Quirrel and the Voldemort threat, it's dangerous the whole time, the professor are even more alienated to Harry and the students and pfft Dumbledore, the one that Voldemort fears? Yeah... kind of incompetent there.

Also: nice detail with Headmaster Black portrait, it was interesting.

My thoughts as I read the chapter:

I LOVE Blaise's discourse on wizard thinking. Explains why no one's done anything about Hogwarts! Good job working that in/justifying the crazy things that go on there!

OMG! You just explained Voldemort's psycho-ness too! Oh my gosh this is crazy! You are literally thinking of everything! It makes sense too! Being to laugh to just "let things be" that is.

Welp, Harry is mini-Voldemort. That's pretty established :/
