Though I usually don't like it when the ring spirit is shown to be such an *ss , but with this ryou , who's no matter how you look at it completely out of it , it fits ! Ryou here has been traumatized enough that he reached the point of no caring for illegal happenings around him anymore

And The ending is epic! Was wondering before reaching of at any point you planned on having the police stalk / interrogate/ question lil Ryou
Tbh if such a thing were to happen I would've liked to hear the police POV over it , ah but then I understand it would've perhaps made this simple one - shot too complicated I guess . Just my own fantasies

If you don't mind , I'll file this under inspiration for - hopefully- future project - regardless of fandom or pairings
