Tui chapter 18 . 12/12/2018 AUUUGHH! It's so good! Don't leave it there I'm DYING! ...no pressure or anything. Just great story. |
anon chapter 18 . 6/30/2018 As I was saying before my computer flipped out... This is a great story and I hope you update soon. |
anon chapter 18 . 6/30/2018 This is |
Guest chapter 10 . 11/11/2017 Was that yo-yo bit a reference to one of Ghirahim's early concept arts? If so, nice Easter Egg. |
Moa chapter 18 . 9/18/2017 I'm so happy you updated! It was action packed and I loved it. |
Water Solace chapter 18 . 9/9/2017 Hurray, another chapter! I never knew how to take the Salesman in the games, as there wasn't much known about his character. You, however, have done well in giving him a backstory. You've made him not evil per se, but no less diabolical. And this chapter had me really disliking him. That was good imagery you used when you described him coming out of the shadows. Oh, Link. Being dense, and then sassy. '"That is the worst plan."' XD Haha! I think Ganondorf was suited to being an angry father. It was great how everyone worked together to find Link. Usually in stories I see everything going to heck and everyone being helpless for sake of the plot, but here you had them as competent as they usually are. I liked it! So the Salesman's motive was to protect the goddess, but now Zelda is willing to take one last chance on ending the cycle. I didn't expect that, but good on her for keeping a level head. Another good chapter! Thanks for sharing. I wonder what's to come next. |
Water Solace chapter 17 . 9/6/2017 I've said it and said it, but that's because it continues to be true: you write these characters so well, I can easily picture what's happening in my head. Even the characters I'm not familiar with are given life on the page! '"Amazing, isn't it?" Ganondorf chimed to Link and Ghirahim, loudly enough for the room to hear, "We didn't even start this and it's still my fault." —Hahaha! XD True, so true. Looks like there's a new villain in the works. Light and Dark are no longer clear cut. What a cliffhanger to leave it on! I'm really looking forward to the next installment. Take your time, though. This story is worth the wait. |
Water Solace chapter 16 . 9/6/2017 And so they make their way to the Meeting of the Keepers. I like how they're making an impression. '"And no son of mine will be treated like a boy by any non-Gerudo."' —Loved this line. I like how their putting on their best as a sort of armor against the Hylians. It's like they know they're going to be treated differently (and not in a good way) and judged and they're bucking up for it. They won't lower their heads. '...that feeling he used to have a long time ago of feeling out of place, only instead of being around a bunch of green-clad children, it was riding through a white-walled Castle Square in a crowd that hated his colors.' —Good callback to his previous lives. '"Please," Ganondorf scoffed, before Link straightened up next to him and bowed, "Impa, you protect the queen at all costs..."' —I will say this confused me. I'm sure Ganondorf was saying the 'Please', but the second bit was unclear. Was Ganon still speaking or was it Link? I think it would have been better to separate them. For instance, take out the 'before' and start a new line with 'Link straightened'. That way there would be no doubt as to who was speaking. The rest of it was easy to understand and great, as usual! That part about Ghirahim. XD Haha! '"And talking," Impa agreed reluctantly.' But honestly, this story is so good all around that I could fill the entire review with quoted lines. |
Water Solace chapter 15 . 9/6/2017 The New Present. I like that, that's a good way to start a new arc. They must be getting some serious time-traveler's lag there, or...whatever happened to them. 'If a thousand lifetimes separated Ganondorf from his homeland, he would still know Gerudo Valley's blistering, stale heat by feel alone.' —I really liked this line. The heart knows when its home, huh? The paragraph after the above line really caught my interest too. Link and Ghirahim fighting, and...not actually trying to kill each other? Cool beans! And the details about the fortress and his tribe sisters was a good touch. I don't know if this chapter was released before or after Breath of the Wild, but the bits of Gerudo language you have in here could easily fit in with the BOTW canon game style. And Link, Ghirahim, and Ganondorf come together to make sense of what the wish on the Triforce did. I really liked this part. Oooh, snap! And here come the Hyruleans. I wonder what changed for them. But...pllt! Looks like Zelda is still listening to the Salesman. Relic Keepers? New Order? All attending weapons confiscated? ...is Ghirahim going to be confiscated? XD Lol! They could try, but I don't think it'd end well for them! A great chapter that transitions the reader smoothly into the new story arc! You know how to keep it interesting. Great job! |
Water Solace chapter 14 . 9/5/2017 Don't be sorry about this chapter; it was wonderful. It blew my mind. The fight scenes, the banter, all was good. Link breaks the mold! Go, hero, go! And to think of who was behind it all... That was quite the twist. Great job! |
Water Solace chapter 13 . 9/5/2017 It's these little details that add a lot to the story. The Gerudean, for instance. I also liked how protective Team Villain was of their leader. Link seems to be questioning his role and what it all means. Once again, another great chapter. Thanks! |
Water Solace chapter 12 . 9/5/2017 Zant's appearance was awesome! Right up out of the shadows. The whole team's together now. The tension gruffy Mr Volga created was very in-character, and the way Ganondorf handled it was equally gruff. It was great. That was some good foreshadowing with 'Amity's handiwork.' |
Water Solace chapter 11 . 9/5/2017 I have to agree with Rosalina. *Mimicks BraveHeart's "FREEEEEDOOOM!" yell* That last part with Team Villain was my favorite of this chapter—not that the rest wasn't good, of course. The camaraderie was real. |
Water Solace chapter 10 . 9/5/2017 An intense chapter for sure. And hurray! Volga's here! '"Volga, how competent are you right now?" "I'm death incarnate," Volga replied.' —This was great. XD Perfect. |
Water Solace chapter 9 . 9/5/2017 I haven't paid attention to Nintendo's Mushroom map, so I wouldn't know. But you wrote it in a way that I wasn't lost, so thank you. '...came the languid voice of the fashion lord.' XD Lol I can't say it enough: You write these characters and their actions so well. And the aggressive manner in which Ganondorf showed that he cared for Ghirahim was perfectly done. |
