Oh my gods. I spent this entire thing dying a little on the inside and started bawling like when Alan Rickman died on chapter seventeen. You're a master of suspense and I adore how you set this up as taking place through flashbacks, with the timer ticking in the background. Beautiful. Thank you so much for posting this.
