mollrat chapter 6 . 2/15/2018 This story was incredibly romantic! I loved the imagery of the heavy feelings Amy and Sheldon are experiencing. I loved the whole sequence where they go to different enclosures because they're thinking of the animals that makes the other person happy. I caught that she went to the koala enclosure and I was so proud of myself lol. I also think it makes sense for Amy and Sheldon to vacillate between really meaningful and emotionally charged conversations to silly conversations about a TV show. Overall, I just really adored this story! |
Guest chapter 1 . 5/5/2017 This is the kind of story that brings home the fact that there can never be another woman for Sheldon and that there can never be another man for Amy. They just "get" each other like no other two people can. I must confess that at times, out of curiosity, I find myself skimming through Sh-y stories and it breaks my Shamy shipper heart each and every time. Then I turn to your stories and all is well in my world again. Thank you for this heartwarming story...Sheldon, the romantic...who knew? |
Creep-Moon chapter 6 . 3/27/2017 amazing chapter, it's cute, original an even cuter. |
Creep-Moon chapter 5 . 3/27/2017 It is (perfect), it truly is. I love it. Yes, yes, yes |
Creep-Moon chapter 1 . 3/27/2017 woha, this is incredible amazing, I can't, everything is perfect. |
Creep-Moon chapter 3 . 3/27/2017 What a chapter, need to keep going... and I will |
Creep-Moon chapter 2 . 3/27/2017 It's always a pleasure to have Mary visiting LOL. I loved it when Sheldon opened the sleepover emergency kid, that one was so sweet. Awww I kinda felt Sheldon's disappointment when the flower art didn't go as he expected, and the chocolates, how frustrating, but what I loved the most about this chapter is how connected they actually are, her cravings and his sudden need to please her with the things she loves the most (besides him, of course) |
Creep-Moon chapter 1 . 3/24/2017 I love it. Good start. |
natka chapter 6 . 4/17/2016 Woooow, that was amazing! I think, no, I know that it was the best fanfic story I've ever read. It was complex, touching, exciting and heart warming. I guess it was perfect and it really helped me to realize how they would both feel after that break up. Are you a psychologist or something like this? Cause I can see you read them like a book and it turns out I don't have this ability. I LOVE IT! |
Dina C chapter 4 . 12/11/2015 Such an excellent, well-reasoned chapter. I love Amy's POV and how you are portraying her. |
ShAmy4eva chapter 6 . 8/10/2015 First off I have to say as ever, how clever and beautifully written this story was. It was sad, it was poignant, but my overall feeling at the end was anger, and I think that this is because of how I feel about the finale. My heart went out to Sheldon as over the 6 weeks everything he thought about related to Amy. How the description of the cats, mirrored Amy’s qualities even down to their fur being like flannel. It was gut wrenching when Leonard stopped him knocking on Penny’s door when all he wanted was to be grounded by Amy’s laughter, and yes I know that Penny persuaded her to eat with them on Friday, but that for me was so cruel. The scavenger hunt was stroke of brilliance, and the poems so creative and relevant to their history – amazing. Sheldon’s comments in the rain "At least I want all of that time with you!" and "Am I really nothing to you? You have me to show for it." For me said it all, and I loved the proposal and how he refused to be interrupted, taking her affirmatives as responses to his statements as opposed to the proposal itself. So why am I angry – Sheldon (and Amy herself) suffered and why – because of her hormones. Surely when she saw how he was on the Friday, Sheldon’s “I guess if no one else wants to sit by me”. Good God how could someone ignore this - that comment alone should have told her how he was suffering – but also, this was being supported by texts from Penny, she should have said something. And for once I did agree with Penny. How could Sheldon know what he had done wrong when she had not said anything for over six weeks. In the last chapter, Amy states “This was the Sheldon she loved, the man she was marrying, the Sheldon she really didn't want to change: completely unaware that he was ruining a potentially magical moment with something mundane, but then saving it at the last possible second by saying something sweet.” I think she should have realised that 8 and a half weeks ago I do not know if it was your intention, and it seems that I am the only one of your readers who has felt this, but I had no sympathy at all for Amy. Though I accept that we have all fallen victim to this at some time or another, it was her own stubbornness that continued her pain. So as I seem to be out of kilter with your other readers, I think for me it is the fact that (and I bet this will come as a surprise to you!) the finale is still a bitter pill in my mouth, and I felt that this story seemed to reinforce the ridiculousness of Amy’s actions then. I do not mean that your story is ridiculous, very far from it. I did not like Amy here or what she did and to have it based on something as mundane as hormone imbalance is quite clever as I can think that this could be the only reason for her to have acted as irrationally as she did in the show. I hope you do not take this as a negative review, because it is certainly not that. It is a credit to your skill that you can stir up such emotion over 6 short chapters. PS - sorry for the length of this :( |
Mizra chapter 6 . 7/21/2015 I don't have the chance to leave you a signed review, but this is the most adorable story I've read in a while. Please keep it up! You write the characters well! |
YlvaBorealis chapter 6 . 7/22/2015 What I loved so much about this chapter, and this entire fic, is that it shows jsut how much these two people care for each other and how unhappy they are being apart. This very last chapter is proof of how far they've come, but also how long they still have to go, but it's okay because now they know that they're fully commited to each other, forever. They can afford to take their time. I loved that part about Sheldon being irritated that his pant leg was soaked, I think that's so true to life. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story. |
CentralPerk chapter 6 . 7/19/2015 Very good story ! Thank you, it helps for this very long summer hiatus. |
CentralPerk chapter 5 . 7/19/2015 This chapter was perfect ! I love it ! |
