love this story. It is really catching the essence of who both Corso and Sonny are. I really like that you captured what I also get with them, this underlying chemistry, and fierce protection of each other. I also would think this would be hard for either of them to bring up. Good thing Sonny has the whits to not overthink it, but act for once. And I would agree with Corso, Sonny really should be more carefull, he has already been in several near death situations,so Corsos worry is indeed very understandable. Would love it if you had written more stories about Corso, and Sonny. Maybe your take on how did they meet, how Corso and Sonny got to be this close and loyal to eachother, how they protect eachother outside of the galactik football. There is actually tons of inspiration when it comes to the pirates. Currently started writing again myself. So I know it will be a long one there, another story is a Corso&Sonny thing, playing with the inspiration and ideas the two of them bring up. Id say there is no chance life as a pirate could ever be boring. Keep this up girl, love your stories.

This was so sweet, Corso deserves happiness and being at ease and I am glad Sonny is a mature adult with a functioning head so he tackled the issue head on and did not attempt to ignore it. I especially love the last line :)

Awwww, this fic is so sweet! It's so Corso to try and be so stubborn about accepting Sonny's love, even if that is what he's always wanted, and I love the back and forth he and Sonny have about it.
