This is a truly haunting piece. I read this and by the end I was completely mesmerized. The pacing on this is brilliant, it builds up into this fast snapping rhythm and then comes the words "Who is Marik?" and it's just. Slam. Complete stop. I mean, just wow. Thank you so much for sharing, this was such an interesting look into Marik's character.
