This is an AWESOME story. But you left out a lot of things. Like the thorn, the black mark, the monster and why didn't gruncle Stan just call the parents? And also, what was he sick from? I LOVE the story but it was too short. Pls add more.

But... Why was he sick? What was the mark? What attacked him? Was it in the journal?

What a good ending. It's interesting that you have him get worse before he gets better. The fluff there at the end is sweet. This is an excellent story.

This chapter is intense. It's very believable that Dipper would run off into danger while sick to retrieve the journal. Stan is awesome here rescuing him. Now I''m worried for him because of the ending. Good chapter.

Oh man, Dipper's condition is getting worse. It is nice to see this caring side of Stan looking after his nephew. Good chapter.

That sounds like a scary nightmare. I'm getting more and more curious as to what he saw out in the forest. Again, the family fluff between Stan and Dipper is sweet. Good chapter.

More mystery. It's a good choice to not have Dipper remember right away. That and having Stan see something moving out the window-really adds to the suspense. Stan taking care of Dipper is sweet. Good chapter.

Yikes! What in the world happened? What did he see? This is a good opening chapter. Already there is suspense and mystery. I like how you have Stan worried for his nephew when he notices the hat. I'm curious to see what happens next. Good chapter.

This story is really sweet and it's nice to read a bonding story with Dipper and Stan. Well done.
