| Fan de Boris chapter 1 . 5/2 I don't know what makes this story so special. Is it the range and breath of the story? Is it the fact some of us have down that road before? And been rescued? Who would have thought the hero was a freckle faced witch with red hair from Ravenclaw? The pacing was superb, The cast was minimal and the story was properly marched forth. It is truly one of the most loveliest stories I have ever read. I have read, re-read, and will read again this story and each time I have left with tears in my eyes. | Tyracus chapter 1 . 2/4/2019 I lost this story for a bit and I'm glad I was able to find it and properly re-favorite it. I can appreciate how the plot is a simple framework for really exploring the characters and letting them live through the vignettes (particularly the Rosie part which made me tear up, especially the end bit with Gabby). I can really appreciate the framing of the tale and there have to be a thousand hardships and sleepless nights for Harry/Gabby but sometimes it's just better to allude to them and let the good win out. It's interesting to read the troubles and dark stories but, as it is in real life, sometimes it's just better to endure the rough times and really focus on the good things that you have. |
