I'm not crying, you're crying! And yes, absolutely Percy exhibits suicidal thoughts in the books! And they are never addressed! Like, when he and jason are under water fighting Polyphemus I believe, percy just resigns himself to dying in a swirl of poison, stating that he probably deserves it. If that isn't a warning sign I don't know what is.

Wow, that was amazing! I really appreciate the fact that someone else also thought the same. Percy went through a lot of trauma, fell into literal hell, (granted, he did have Annabeth but still horrible nevertheless) and traveled deeper into Tartarus than Nico (still love him and acknowledge the fact he went in alone though), he'd definitely would have had survivor's guilt from both wars, have nightmares, PTSD, anxiety, and so much more. Well, that's the end of my Percy appreciation speech, but really adore your writing. It's emotiona, and conveys how he's struggling. Great job!
