That is utter shit. She didn't apologize, she didn't confess first. She just stated the same exact thing that upset him in the first place... What in the freaking world? Then, on top of that all, she demands presents and shit? Demands to be asked out properly when after all this she should be the one asking him out? What in the fuck?

Yeah no. She most definitely should feel guilt for striking him. All he did was cause a scene. Boo-hoo. Happens all the time. She knows what he is like. Why hold it against him knowing it is who he is? What is he supposed to think? She talks about being in love, blatantly showing the emotion on her face and then Naruto sees her having a meal with Sasuke. The dots line up, even if wrong. It wasn't an illogical assumption by any means. Irrational yes. But there is a certain logic to it. She should have sought him out and apologized to him..
