A truly marvelous story. Had me in tears. Extremely well written.

That was really moving and touching. I like it. I do have one complaint though, and that is I think Ash should have let May grieve and be alone for a little bit longer. When people are that miserable in such a situation they need time alone to try and process it. But otherwise it was a nice story. Good work

I was rereading this to remind myself how to write some good tragedy/angst (need to write it for a story I'm writing), and I have to say, this is still such an amazinf story. The progression of the two and how much Ash is there for her reminds me why I liked the pair. Good going

Wow. This was one of the few one-shots that got me close to crying. Good job, by the way. The story was decent, though I think you could've stated who or what killed off the Maples.
