So after reading this a thought hit me- Peridot's REALLY short, right? Like, tiny. But if that was natural for a Peridot, why would she have limb inhancements?
Now, remember how when Ruby found a way to stay, White Diamond said Blue would have to find another subject for her rehabilitation project? What if Peridot's height was a deformity, but because of her intelligence being so, so highly advanced for her gem, she was treasured like Sapphire, and PERIDOT became Blue's new rehabilitation project. Except, Peridot is rehabilitated and thus makes her limb enhacements.

Okay, this will probably be weird. If I'm right you haven't updated this in a year or so, but holy crap on a stick. I started this at around 9 pm or so in my region, just skimming for Rupphire shots on the way home from our academic meet, and I just finished it at 12:16 in the morning. This fic, even the ones that don't concentrate on Containment Unit 6 (even though those are my favorite [not that I don't love your other ones either, because HOLY CRAP they give me feels]) have probably just changed my life forever. This was beautiful, and passionate, and AMAZING and I just finished the end of the CU6 shots and I may or may not be crying. Just a little bit. I've been in this fandom since about midway through season 1, and I'm not saying that to brag, but to point out that in that time until now, I've read a LOT of SU fics, and after 'Jailbreak', a LOT of Rupphire fics. But I can honestly say that even reading the hundreds of fics that I have, this one is my absolute fevorite. Sure, it ended up not being canon, but, 'one of the best five are. Personally, I like this version just a littttttle bit better than Rebecca's. Or a lottle. Yeah. Definitely a lottle more than Rebecca's. But, the point, of this long, sad excuse for a review, is to simply say thank you. Thank you so so so so much for making this fix a thing, and for posting it for all the other fangirls and fanboys to find it. Just, thank you for being such an amazing author, and for posting such an amazing fic.

One of my favorite chapters so far :) this is a wonderful compilation and I just can't stop reading. Fantastic descriptive writting that hooked me from chapter one. Please don't hold anything back, write as raw as the story requires! There are a lot of serious topics in this story and they wont benefit from sugar coating.

Well. From what I remember, Sapphire was meeting Blue Diamond on Earth I think. With Ruby. When they accidentally fused they had to run away and got lost. Then Rose met them and was like welcome to earth.

Well, actually, Sapphire and Ruby didn't invent fusion. Fusion was a common way to battle in Homeworld. But, Ruby and Sapphire were one of the first to fuse as different gemtypes. It was forbidden and looked down upon so even though it was by accident they had to run away. Then the Leader of the rebellion found them. As Garnet but not fully developed. But, you see,I don't really think Garnet is an individual. Fusions of different gemtypes (or Stevonnie) are normally very confusing at first. It's difficult to control and sometimes they can't think properly because of debate. Like when Alexandrite didn't want to eat because of Pearls disgust. Or even Garnet couldn't hold herself together because Ruby was incredibly angry but Sapphire was calm.
