Callie this entire story was perfect and I am so in love with it!

You did a wonderful job writing this. The story as a whole had me sitting on the edge of my seat at times and at other times I was melting with joy!
This AU meeting was so heartbreaking because at one point it seemed like they were gonna die, and if not both of them, it looked like she would for sure. BUT HE SAVED HER. He gave her his heart and that's honestly one of my favourite things about this story. Its SO beautiful in every aspect and you wrote it perfectly. It's definitely one I'll be re-reading for many years to come because it's honestly one of my favourites.

I adored this chapter so much! Because they're so deeply, undeniably in love and just so happy to be alive and to be together. And they're doing it all together! Getting discharged, recovering, all the good stuff!

AND HE FINALLY GOT TO TAKE HER ON A DATE. Gosh, I'm such trash for this story. But it's sweet how much they love and want each other. AND THEN HE PROPOSED ON THE SECOND DATE! OH MY GOD. YES! All of the yes! For the record, my parents got married 4 months into their relationship. Yeah, they'd been friends for a year or so, but my dad married my mom before Canada could send her back to Norway. And well, they're about to celebrate their 30th anniversary in February. So it's entirely possible to move quickly and have it work out so even though Rick and Kate have only known each other 4 months, I believe they're gonna make it.

AND THEIR WEDDING WAS FREAKING PERFECT. She wore her mom's dress! Oh, where are my heart eyes emojis because I wanna throw them all over this story.

It's sad it took me this long to continue this, but honestly Christmas has been crazy. ANYWAY, how that the holiday season is over I'm hoping to get my life under control again so I can get back to enjoying beautiful fics like these.

THIS WAS PERFECT!
I can't believe he gave her his heart. SO. MANY. FEELS.
And because of that one act they both get to live.

This was written flawlessly because you really feel for Kate and Rick in this situation, because they're both sick and she's basically dying, and they've clearly got these feelings for one another to the point where if either of them died they'd be crushed. AH! THE FEELS.

I am so happy the surgery was a success and WHEN SHE SAID SHE LOVED HIM. OH MY GOD. My heart kind of exploded with happiness. IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!

Can't wait until I find time to read the last chapter (I have to run off to work, hence why this review is kind of... all over the place. I'm just rambling at this point).

Okay, this fic is a freaking work of art and I have no clue how you managed to think up this plot but it's PERFECT!

The way he was mesmerized by her before he even truly saw her just made my heart melt and when she asked the nurse if the man behind the curtain was nice, I DIED. THAT WAS THE SWEETEST SENTENCE EVER. And then they opened the curtain and they saw each other and it was the most precious moment of LIFE. That entire bit actually played out in my mind like a movie, and I love it SO freaking much!

AND THEN THEY'RE HOSPITAL ROOMIES AND BECOMING BESTIES AND FALLING IN LOVE. I love how much he adores her and how much he makes her smile despite her situation. And I love that them being stuck in a room together kind of forces them to get to know one another which just makes them fall in love even more.

AND THEN SHE STARTED DYING. WHY CALLIE, WHYYY? The amount of feels. This fic is gonna slay me.

AND WHEN SHE CRASHED I LEGIT HELD MY BREATH AS I READ THIS. Thank goodness they got her back (thanks Josh, didn't expect you to be useful for anything lolol jk jk).

BUT ALL IS NOT WELL BECAUSE SHE'S STILL FLIPPIN' DYING.
I need the next chapter. Yes. This will be read tonight.
