*sighs contently* wow. Second time I've read this - the first time on ao3 - and once again, it made me feel happy and content. An amazing ending. Not sudden and abrupt, but slow and beautiful. Overall, wonderful, beautiful piece of art here. I love it.

I loved how this was a darker retelling of the movie. Most people just throw in an OC and retell the entire movie and that gets boring after a while. I Aldo love the tragic sense that this has with Jack dying (I'm always looking for fics like that)
