Oh this is debauched and I love it. I love how the scratches on his back (and neck) are as new and raw as the physical relationship they have. I love the mortification between the two of them, finally at a point where they admit to one another what does tickle their fancy, but also why. They can row 'til the dragons come home, but getting them to admit to one another what excites them is the harder part of their intimacy. Yes, it's sex but it's also the emotional vulnerability - which neither wanted to share, because of fear.
