I was expecting some sort of rwist in the end, like toichi being an inpostor xD

I believe a lot of us don't particularly like the idea of Toichi being alive in canon, but it's definitely an interesting "what if?" I think the emotions throughout this are really realistic. I would kind of want to punch Toichi for such a pathetic excuse, but having him cry at the end is so powerful. Toichi is made out to be this perfect, always Poker Face role model for Kaito, and as a reader we never really get to see much of Toichi, everything we do is all in flashback. But he is much easier to empathize with when we get to see this kind of character, even an adult be wrong and let themselves cry and make mistakes. I think the 10,000 challenge was a great opportunity to take the time and really show more in-depth character development and storyline. Wonderful job! I like the story. I like the pace so that it won't look too fast for Kaito to accept everything. I've ever thought of this kind of scenario, I mean 'what if Touichi isn't died?', after watching and reading the Kaitou Corbeau part. I think if that kind of plot twist is real, I ... don't know. That's cruel, but Kaito can be happy. You manage to show those conficting emotions in this story. So, it's good. You even manage to fill all of the questions that should be there if Touichi is really alive. Even the tape part. So, the body in cremation nine years ago is Touichi's assistant and everyone think that it's Touichi's body? However ... I don't think I get the answer of how come he doesn't know that the world thought he died? Did he know that Kaito become a Kaito KID? I don't know how infamous KID is in international, but when he returned, I think the world must have told the news, so Touichi ... should ... have known? And, Kaito in this story didn't mention all of his effort he had put for being KID. The time when he got shot by Snake. About his nightmare which is become the introduction of this story ... I'm so aorry, I know it's your story ... It's up to you which one you want to include as a story. So, yeah, I'm sorry if my questions offended you.
