Good chapter. Though a couple people escaped Xehanort's clutches, with Namine's warnings and panic it doesn't feel like this was a step in the right direction.

Also felt a little bad for Riku here. I'm sure he feels like he doesn't have much choice in what he can do. Wondering what will happen next.

Wow. Good Namine. Although like Kairi I don't see why Riku can't take them all. It wouldn't be that hard. I can see why Namine says that losing Kairi will stop Sora from doing what he needs to do. After all he was very upset about what happened to Ven. Looking forward to it

You know, you may be an oracle, but you don't know everything...

This chapter was pretty straightforward. Not a ton of stuff happened, but what did happen was relevant. It's mostly just everyone still being on the run and trying to prepare for the next step in taking down Lord Xehanort. I attribute Riku's ease at getting into the dungeon due to the fact that he's been trained and with Xehanort's forces for so long. Still, you know he's going to get caught in all of this. Since Riku is currently helping Sora out, guess we're not getting a friend vs old friend fight. Not that I needed that fight, but it's a theme/aspect of stories and Kingdom Hearts in particular that I can't help but enjoy. It's one of those cliches that I like.

I like how Namine just calmly explains to Kairi how Master Eraqus and herself are expendable. You just picture Namine all authoritative, sitting up straight as if she were on a throne with a crystal ball and yet... She's in a cage like everyone else. It's just an ironic image to come up with, this mature voice of reason coming from a young girl. Yet, because of the knowledge she possesses I think it causes her to devalue herself and put the needs of others first in accordance to the big picture. This can come off pretty masochistic to others looking on the outside, especially for someone like Kairi who is meeting Namine for the first time. I just like that dynamic and how it ends up playing out.

Good luck with the next chapter! Looking forward to seeing Sora improve/get a power boost of some sort. He could use some cheering up.

Riku is on their side! I thought that was going to be harder then it ended up being. So that thing Namine said about both of them having a chance to live... Does that mean that Ven could come back? Is it the whole Ven's heart being in Sora again. Why did Kairi do that? She has to know that if they find out that it was drawn on they will kill her. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Hmm...wonder if the three will be reunited.

So, that's what happened to Eraqus. And is Xehanort planning on making a X-blade with Riku and Vanitas? Or...?

Well, Kairi, maybe someday you'll get one too.
