I gotta admit it would be more of a challenge to practice complicated sword forms in the heavy wind and rain, especially for a skilled swordsman, where regular practice won't help as much. Plus, there's the poetic value, of course Rain practicing in the heavy rain.

Xanxus is way smarter and has a higher EQ than most would ever think of.

He was a serious Boss candidate for the biggest, bloodiest mafia family in the world. As a bastard. that meant that Xanxus worked his ass of and it was more than just blind fear that he inspired in the people around him.

I like how, at the end, Xanxus is basically like, 'may you live in interesting times'.

Sadly, the person who probably knows being the Vongola Decimo is a curse the most is Tsuna. Tsuna who likely would handed over the Vongola to Xanxus if if wasn't for the Rings being the Rings (and the whole 'the Varia are trying to kill your friends' thing).

Basically, everything shitty that happens to Xanxus and Tsuna is either Iemitsu or Nono's faults.

Ah, yes... Xanxus knows that it doesn't matter whether or not your subordinates like you, but that they are *committed* to your cause. Which is a kind of love, no matter how it looks.

Tsunas lifestory is essentially just a factor of his bloodline and outer circumstances. Having his flames, his will, sealed with no support or thought as to what effects to his psyche until there was no direct heir left. When he is finally unsealed he is shaped into the role of 'neo-primo' without much choice as to any personal ambitions.
That Xanxus sees all this probably doesn't help much in his own bitterness regarding his own fate. Having had the opportunity to build a future with the support and validation of the Volognias allies he can see how Tsunas vision of the mafia will affect the wider family. And that his own will never be achieved. Thus any mistake or disadvantageous path on Tsunas behalf that is bulldozed through will feel like a personal insult to Xanxus.

This? This is just *so* Varia I'm laughing 'til I cry.

BWAHAHA.

Poor Tsuna. The Varia are wonderfully mind-bending!
