This could be made so much better without the OCs. Instead of random people coming along and fixing P and F’s safety standards and bringing alongs a temporal projector, it could easily have been P and F seeing a video about workplace safety and realizing they’d been a bit lax and inventing super PPE that’s practically invisible and then always wearing it during their adventures. And how about P and F deciding to spend the day reminiscing on theglories of the (not so) distant past now that the gangs back together in one place. And in the case of something embarrassing happing that they may want to avoid then have Vanessa, Isabella, or Candace force the issue out of curiosity. There’s literally no need to introduce some random schmucks from out of the blue!

The whole purpose of this sort of clipshow is character interaction and their reactions to the past. Why should I care about what two random people think about this when I could hear from the actual cast. I would genuinely prefer it be a pair of little used characters like Adyson and Django who borrowed one of P and F’s old inventions to have an enjoyable evening. Cause then it’d be fun to see all the little moments where they were there that we don’t remember. And since Django was one of the characters that disappeared rather early in the season he wants to see what they all got up to while he wasn’t there because he moved away or whatever, and Adyson wants to subtly poke some lighthearted fun at her old Fireside Girls troop leader and her “Little Crumbcake” so they work together.
