Reviews for A different weasel makes a difference
oceangreenalgae chapter 130 . 7/10
This story was brilliant. I quite enjoyed the historical narration style and your Others were tragic, terrifying and the genocidal threat they always deserved to be.
Tagin chapter 5 . 6/20
As much as I love history, this story read like a textbook, with the giant blocks of descriptive text and no dialogue. Very dry. I won't continue.
BlueBezerk chapter 14 . 4/16
I like how you made the Tyrion stories so embellished and unreal.
Stannisfan chapter 13 . 2/11
Nice starwars reference “ It’s a trap”.
I did read your others fics and they are written wonderfully, I noticed that english is not your first language (the same as me)... but your work is epic nonetheless. Keep the good work.
StoriesMakeLife chapter 12 . 2/5
Brief, laconic - and yet fascinating. Thank you.
Gossd15 chapter 27 . 12/27/2019
I love the last sentence of this chapter, fully encompasses the fury of the King of Winter. I fully expect a new song for the fall of House Lannister, "And thus Winter Came for House Lannister."
Guest chapter 54 . 10/9/2019
.. so, Petyr Baelish spent the entire story doing nothing, then running away and dying. Both the Iron Bank and Aegon wouldn't care about some nobody who doesn't have funds, armies, or influence. It's silly that anyone actually cares about him if that's all he did. From having hands of the king murdered and starting civil wars to weaken everyone other than himself, to essentially just shriveling up and dying.
Guest chapter 53 . 10/9/2019
I'm kinda disappointed at the generic "Baelish was a thief and an idiot, nothing more" fanon thing. Say what you will about him in ASOIAF, he's one of the rare people that's actually frighteningly competent in the story - if he hadn't been, he'd never have left The Fingers. I doubt he was much of a white collar criminal in canon; it would take too much time to cover it up (and Varys would have found out and destroyed him before canon came around, something Baelish very carefully avoided) when he probably was busy organizing assassinations and rebellions to further his position.
Grumplesquishkin chapter 130 . 8/20/2019
Wow.

Definitely one of my top 5 favourite fics ever. I love the format, and the magic, and the uprisings, and the awesome deaths for good people and nasty ones for the villains, and the fate of the Ironborn and Dothraki, and the background of the Others (holy shit!), and the quotes at the beginning of the chapters, and the fact that you actually include places outside of Westeros/Free Cities/Slavers Bay, and the Lightbringer stuff. Bloody brilliant work!
