I’m sorry but this story makes Rome seem like a dick. I mean, Italy wasn’t actually bad, he just didn’t know how to be good. And, no matter the reason, it is never right to mess with ones mind. Rome completely erased who Italy was, not leaving anything left. He basically made him into a complacent doll, which is so wrong on a moral level. And then Rome claims he did it to make Italy a strong country, but if you listen everyone thinks he’s weak and pathetic.

What if, in those last moments, Rome also said, "I ship it"?

Am I the only one upset that original Italy was practically hated and killed? It's as if he didn't get his own happy ending. In the end he was still seen as a monster, a danger to everyone. Even to the only person he trusted. It's still a good story, but the ending felt kinda rushed and was really sad to me. To me, nothing is better than the original of something or someone. Because they are the beginning and have a right to be the end as well.

You should do a chapter where you have Italy explaining what happened, France freaking the hell out, and America jokingly challenging Italy to arm wrestle or something and loosing in a instant.

You should write a follow up chapter to this. It would be hilarious; especially if France were to find out about the missing crystal. I enjoyed this quite a bit.

Okay, so Italy is slightly evul, Russia is being nice, France ships GermanyxItaly even though u don't exactly know if they're like that, and Rome is being a manipulative bastard? Life just got real! How will this all end? Is there any way for original Italy to coexist with the others? I know he couldn't keep his personality in check the first time around, but maybe he needs an anchor? And does France remember the old Italy? Because he sure acts like it!
