Please, it can't end here! I know the last update was two years ago, but please please please consider returning to work on this, because this is such a good, good start to such a promising story!

I've gotten such a soft spot for Shisui, and while I've seen him and Sakura interact in a teacher-student/friend way in another story, this one was nicely different because the massacre has happened and she's seeing him as a ghost. Not to mention that you've taken the seeing ghosts angle while allowing trouble to stir in the village due to her sudden increase in skill plus her friends' clan affiliations. I was really worried about her getting thrown into T&I for a while, but having her graduate early was a nice tactic. That parallels nicely with Shisui's talk with Itachi to present the idea about how there's always another option somewhere, even when you don't always see it. (My heart broke a little while they were talking, and I'm so happy that they're getting to write to each other.)

I like the additions of Rin and Sakumo, how they're training Sakura too while helping her to watch her back. Kabuto's clearly scheming (although it's good that Sakura gets warnings from his mother's ghost), and with Aoi's questionable teaching status, there's potential for troublesome times in the future. I keep expecting someone to still be watching her, even if out of curiosity. The apartment to herself means that Sakura will be able to speak with her ghost friends much more freely, but it also means that, if someone stops over, she'll have no excuse over who she was speaking with. How great is the insulation in the apartment's walls? Could someone hear her? I also keep expecting trouble on the training grounds. If someone does surprise her, would any of the other ghosts be able to possess her to help her if the opponent is outside her skill level? What was Anko's reaction to Sakura graduating early and becoming a ninja? We haven't seen her in a while.

There's occasionally some tense issues, but I'm more focused on the story. I'm loving how freely you're allowing changes to affect the story so that it can be its own, tied with but not bound down by the canon story, like Sakura having a new team (at least for the present). Again, I know that it's been a couple of years, but I really hope that you consider returning to update. Sakura's just realized that she's crushing on Shisui (and why not, he's a knight in shining armor!), and her powers are changing. She's no longer just seeing a few ghosts. She's seeing more ghosts, not to mention that Shisui's becoming tangible, at least to Sakura. Whether or not this is a Yin/Yang side effect of possession or affection due to her imagination remains to be seen, however. So, once more, as I selfish reader, I humbly request a return to updating this story. I think it's too good to leave it collecting dust, but I also have seen that you have a lot of projects. Whatever you choose to do, best of luck, and happy writing~
