I had no idea I was going to like this so much. The description interested me for sure, but after plowing through all five of these chapters, I'm completely taken with this story. It's absolutely amazing and beautifully written, lemme tell you. It's just outstanding what you've done with this. I'm eager to see what you come up with next.

This is great. The setting is a little weird to me, but it's interesting to see how the characters are made to fit in their roles, and how they interact with each other. Kisa's thoughts really are mysterious. I'd love to see more of the story from Kisa's pov.

This is quite interesting. I wonder where you're going to take it. It's kind of strange to picture defiant, opinionated Kisa being a slave to anyone but I think you've done it well here. I loved everyone's reactions in Ch4 when they find out he's 30. Also, I thought that whole scene where Lord Reiva is very open and pushy about his sexual habits and voyeurism to be very indicative about what is socially acceptable in this world. Originally I was thinking this was going to be one of those stories where they have to hide the sexual nature of their relationship, but that now seems to be completely the opposite. I sense a big conflict arising in the next few chapters. I'm looking forward to it. Also, thank you for so many freshly baked lemon cookies. :)

And here I was going to ask of you to write some of Kisa's life with Khar. You were one step ahead. Although I do want to see more, those scenes allowed us to see only a glimpse of what Kisa's life was like back then.
I'm not really sure about Khar, he seems strong and demanding, but at the same time he kinda of had a hint of a soft side - or it might have been my imagination.
I hope Kisa gets to be happy with Kou, I get the feeling he needs that a lot. So far everything progress well, but the twist will come sooner or later and I don't want that.
Kou should be more considerate of Kisa, but I doubt he will realise that now, maybe later on, after their relationship develops a bit more.

Well that escalated quickly. Didn't know Kisa had such a rough past. Thanks for a glance into his head too. Makes things a little clearer but also makes me want more to see how things pan out between the desert beauty and his new rapacious master. This is very good. I really like the fic. I want to know more about Kisa though. There is definitely more to him and his history. I wonder if his relationship with Yukina will ever get to the point where he can really be himself. I hope you update soon :)

This story has such a different feel from your other fics Flamingo. It makes me think that Kisa is not the only wearer of multiple faces and makes me wonder what else you might be keeping in that amazing brain of yours.

The pace is delicious and the world building has captured me completely. Once again this worldly Yukina is a wonderful twist, but I can see his canon character in his painting and also in the way he's obviously very quickly falling for Kisa. The even more worldly Kisa here is also a marvel, you have given his character such dimension. Makes me love him even more.

I couldn't help but wonder if, despite what he told Lize, that moment of hesitation was more than a tease and maybe perhaps something more... wishful?

Thank you for reader tease too, you sly Bird. There are few things better in the world than watching a couple of beautiful young men get it on. The sensuality and carnality of both your writing and this world is so enticing and I am looking forward to seeing it unfold further. I'll admit however, while I'd love to see Kisa romp more with Lize and though I'm not keen on monogamy, I find myself also hoping for a time when Yukina doesn't want to share him anymore and makes this known.

There's a weight and a poetry to this piece Flamingo that sets this work apart from your others. In the past you and I talked about how our fics differed originally, mine tending towards more internal yours to the opposite. This is one of the things that really make this story stand out to me: it may be the most psychological of your works thus far on several levels. I am enjoying this already and seeing how quickly one character's psyche is reacting and shifting already having collided with the other's is deeply engaging.

What a tease you are, you delightful bird. I'm delighted in how Kisa describes how to please one's master by letting them anticipate a bit before indulging them; it's something all writers should be mindful of when pushy reviewers become overzealous in their quest for more from authors, and here, you have done just that. Bravo! Also, I about lost my mind when I was reading the lyrics to Amnesia as I had All In Good Time blasting through my speakers. I started with listening to Black Opium about two or so years ago (saw the lyrics on your profile), and I then ventured into the rest of the album.

Amnesia is among my top favorites, for it's ability to have an almost cloying effect, almost like it is /trying/ to get you to remember something, and you simply can not...wonderfully eerie in it's own way, and having Kisa sing it, of all people... I feel that he and Yukina may have a deeper connection than we readers may have anticipated; his lack of articulation for the feelings he is uncertain of only assure me more that this very well may be...

Continue in your fine art, oh Majestic Bird; I hope to see your next piece soon, but I will readily profess the anticipation is intoxicatingly sweet.
