Hey, just here to let all of you guys know, the author of this has moved over to . They explain it there, but essentially they lost their stuff for this account and have started to repost this there. They are on chapter 10 so far, but they do plan to continue it there if anyone is interested. Updates are not scheduled as far as I can tell, but it is there now, so look forward to that

I've never been more in love with a fanfic in my life! It's a shame it took me so long to discover DARKSIDERS, and consequently, this fanfic. It was just so funny and fluffy - once again, it's a shame that there are no more chapters available (a little too late for that but oh well)

Yo, big fan of this story, this is the third time I’ve read this all the way through. I really love War’s romantic development, the sass and humor are on point, and I really like how the Watcher warms up. The ‘frenemy’ relationship is great. :)
I’m just wondering if you’re coming back to this, since it’s been a while... I understand real life is a thing and good writing takes tremendous effort, but it would be so sad to cut it off so close to the end...

Please update soon, I really love this story a lot. It's made me laugh quite a few times and the suspense of waiting for the next chapter is killing me.

I'll admit, I had binge... read this entire story but hey. I really do hope to see it all the way through as I'm very curious as to what our character will do while War remains imprisoned whilst Death hurtles himself off the Well.
The character is very sassy but isn't annoying. She knows when it's best to keep comments to herself and she also understands that practically everyone in the word poses a big threat to her, thus she doesn't go doing heroics. As a writer you have taken into consideration of all the character's behavior and keeping them, themselves. It's a slowburn but a fun one.
I'd love to see her hugging and clinging to Ruin as she expresses very open affection to War's horse then himself. To be honest, I'd want to take Ruin and keep him in my front yard where I can feed him apples and carrots and give him lots of scritches lol Horse who leaves a trail of fire where every he goes? What's not to love?

I do hope you continue and I await the time all four or rather five come back together.

Please update again! I'm currently playing Darksiders and this story is making it hard to choose between Death and War. I love Death, but this story has made my fondness for War grow quite a bit ️

So... not generally a fan of reader inserts, but have to admit I love how you've managed this beauty!
Have yet to play Darksiders 2, so can't say much about Death, but your War feels spot on! Mostly silent, but sassy and confident with a strange talent for deadpan sarcasm... great job right there
(Also love that you keep making occasional comments about his size/fangs/glowy eyes. Most authors seem to mention it once and just forget this is not just a buff human.)
Your reader is relatable, both capable of holding her own and sassing big baddies without coming across as unrealistic (I mean, bosses and potentially fatal drops are scary, plus, who can keep up with a travelling Horseman?)
