I've always loved the relationship between Russel and Noodle. I'm a sucker for that kind of schmaltz. :P The chapter overall was very cute and very moving. I appreciated how it was mostly dialogued based and how you just let Noodle and Russel talk, and of course by that I mean they "talk", as in, allow their characters to vent and show their humanity. Even in official Gorillaz material, you don't really get to see too much of that, and it's always a pleasure when the bandmates are allowed to open up like that. Also, like I did with your last story, I put on a Gorillaz song while I read the story, particularly the segment where Noodle and Russel began opening up. The song was "El Manana", and I'm sure you can see how that fits. ;) Great job and good luck with the next installment.

Huh. Bit of an interesting concept considering I'm that while the Cyborg fans are out there, they're small in number. I certainly wouldn't think it'd be a good idea to breath life into that thing again, but hey, it seems like it might go well. Although, there's no way that 2-D isn't going to take one look at it next time he can and shit his pants from fear. That thing must have been as given him just as much Hell on Plastic Beach as Murdoc did. lol Good chapter overall.

And some thoughts on the story overall: I've been searching a lot for Gorillaz fics since I recently just got into the band, and this one is definitely the most interesting and wholesome. Though, I'll admit it seems a bit much in places, like the general relationship with Murdoc and Noddle, but hey, I can dig it. I also like how in the first chapter you had Noodle listening to some Plastic Beach to get a feel for an album she didn't get to work on. I'd be interested to see what she thinks of The Fall and how 2-D made it all by himself. :)

ahhhh i love this update! really neat to see how exactly murdoc and noodle's relationship has changed over the years and its great to see them start to talk things out!
