This is pretty much exactly what I wanted at the end of this episode. I couldn't believe they did that, though I do like that not all of the storylines with the women are about their lovelife. But they could have been good together, like in this. ;)

Oh, this was very nice - it's always interesting to read a new take on "Attached"! I like the brave face Jean-Luc put on the morning after Beverly had turned him down - he was disappointed but really didn't want to hurt their friendship, so he would be willing to accept continuing as if nothing had happened, if she would. I like the depiction of how comfortable they are together, too, and Beverly's realization that a lot of things worth doing are nevertheless frightening at first. Love can be like that :) Very nice concluding lines, too.
