I have to say that I absolutely loved this story. I love the idea of both Rosalie and Emmett staying human because they were in that same time. I love how you got them in the same location with Emmett ending up working for her and Royce. It was heartbreaking having Rosalie endure all of that with Royce and not feeling like she could say anything. Getting pregnant was definitely the bright spot for her. I loved the inclusion of Cullens and how they were with it all.

I really enjoyed Emmett's family and how Rosalie was able to go there and spend time. I also loved that she didn't become an entirely different person; she did change but only in certain things that were already in effect before they left. I loved how she discovered the whole mechanics aspect.

I loved how you showed and developed Emmett and Rosalie's relationship. It made sense with Emmett being drawn when he first saw her and it just continuing that way. I loved that Rosalie's draw to Emmett was a slower but it fit. I loved that they became friends first and then more. And I loved the inclusion of Jem in their lives and how they see him as Emmett's son regardless of blood. I'm glad that Rosalie was able to defend herself against Royce and that he's out of their lives forever.

I loved how Emmett and Rosalie got married and were able to have their family.

This was an absolutely wonderful story. Thank you for sharing this! And I think you did indeed answer the question on if they would have worked out had they stayed human.

Please please PLEASE do an epilogue. Maybe about 10 years down the road? Or even one where they are old, on the front porch surrounded by their grand children. Great story!

The line that Rosalie says about scars is so challenging in its absolute truth. It also shows how much she's changed. The scars that are skin deep don't speak for those that no eye can see.

What a wonderful way to end the story. Her parents supporting her the way that they can, Dr. Cullen and Mrs. Cullen in attendance, Vera and Henry, and her life starting over. It won't be perfect like how she imagined it just a few years ago, but then she's not the same as she was.
