Aww, loved this story too! You write Lieutenant Duckling so well! Their romance is really beautiful and makes me emotional. I'm kind of glad you made Walsh the other man rather than Neal. That's not something I see all that often in fanfiction, and I like it. There was just do much history and hurt between Emma and Neal in canon that it complicates things. At least with Walsh things were straight forward-yes, she fell for him, but it was while she didn't have her memories. And of course there was that whole "he's a monkey" thing.
