Sorry I haven't been keeping up with reviews. I think you know all I've been dealing with that has sort of taken up all my time and energy. This is a cute little story though. I enjoyed it.

I really like this and appreciate the simpleness (not a bad thing and only for lack of better words)...not every moment in real life is a grand gesture, and sometimes the most heartfelt and affectionate feelings arise from the "little" moments.

I just love how Daphne is all like 'you need a dog' and Niles doesn't even say anything, because it's Daphne and he'd probably do whatever she says :D And it's so funny when Daphne tells Eddie to be quiet cause his "brother" is talking - looooved that! Cute and funny story!

I'm kind of glad Niles didn't tell her here. There's something to be said for friendship. It gives them a foundation on which they can build something more. I'm glad you're doing more one-shots! :)
