Two things I liked in this chapter.

If you want to steal something, well there are professionals for that kind of thing. Using the thieves guild to infiltrate the Embassy as a job was a very inspired idea.

And the Blades are sworn to serve the Dragonborn, not to make demands, one after another, without giving back anything for quite some time. In my current playthrough for the first time I told Delphine, with the aid of a mod, that I am Dragonborn, and that I give the orders, and that I do NOT kill Paarthurnax, however much she wants me to and orders me and threatens heavy repercussions. And that I'm completely able to finish the Thalmor's work and exterminate the Blades. Here you shut her up even earlier and tell her that her opinions and orders are not the Word of a Divine, to be followed mindlessly and without questions and thinking of your own. Very good!

While up to now it was mostly an AAR, in Ustengrav you started writing fanfiction. Oh, how I wish I could really give my follower precise orders ingame, or at least show her the pressure plates and see her (she's my wife, I hate to see her hurt) avoid the poison darts/spikewall/spears/flamethrower/whatever. In one dungeon she repeatedly (at least ten times) stepped on the trigger and was smashed into a wall by that spikewall. That double armour enchantment of "Fortify Health" by almost 6000 points and "Regenerate Health" by about 2000 % proved to be a very good investment there and then.

I have Skyfall Estate as my home base. It's (obviously) a mod house, between the meadery and Chillfurrow Farm. It lets me adopt up to six kids and Lucia is always the first one, even before I get to Dragonsreach. It, too, has all the crafting stations in kitchen, smithy and laboratory. And it comes with a staff of three to guard and take care of the children when I'm away. And when they're playing outside it's within vision of the guards patrolling Honningbrew. On the other hand, with their dragonbone daggers, tempered up to eleven, and their practising fighting with the dummy in the cellar they're probably a lot more dangerous than the guards ever could be... :-)

This is so fun! I just started doing Role Playing myself getting a lot of suggestions on line and stuff, and found this guy on YouTube who is doing a RolePlay of Skyrim as though it is a tv show. Fantastic work too.

I love the mod of changing the guard into SweetRolls, I snickered after the first one when I realized what it was. Too Fun!~! Just started with modding fun stuff into my game, most of mine was better graphics and immersion stuff.
I want to start a play through with a Orc character name May Lei who goes only into dungeons and stuff to find food and has to fight her way through everything, only using weapons that she picks up in that dungeon than dropping them when the dungeon is complete.

Also known as the chapter in which Yvara is entirely uninterested in being dragged into anymore wide-reaching conflicts that could possibly destroy the world...

Still, Yvara is an awesome badass with a sweet disposition so long as you're Stupid. Or Inept. Or an Asshole.

Yvara is so fucking done with people.

She just wants to loot shit, fry shit, and then oogle the occasional eye candy. Is that too much to ask?

Actually, she's sort of happy she's a vampire. Maybe it helps make her immune to whatever intelligence decay phenomena her fellow mortals are suffering from?

Yvara seriously has the luck of Harry Potter.

She's kinda awesome though. And sweet, in her own sarcastic, deities-help-those-who-help-themselves sort of way.
