My life...is complete. This is the ending I always knew I wanted from the series, though I admit the means by which we came to this point in your story is not how I imagined it coming to be. Gods, I'd love to find more stories like this, or a continuation or slice-of-life shots. Wonderful story and I think you do honor to the original story with your magnificent writing style.

Holy crap! This was Amazing. I'm stunned by how beautiful this one shot was. Usually I'd be able to write a longer review but... just damn. This has to be one of the best stories I've ever read. Simply wow.

Rachel is such a cunt sometimes. I could totally see her tricking Ivy to get what she wants and completely disregarding Ivy's feelings in the matter. Sometimes it pisses me off about her but I still ship Ravy as my OTP. So thanks for the smutfest and the emotional after math. Personally, I think Ivy should be a dick back just because I'm so mad at Rachel for settling for Trent (yuck) but whatever. I loved your story as usual. Especially, the descriptions of the places and small details with the minor characters. You've got talent S, and I will always be a fan of your writing. Now I will let my nyquil work and hope this cold goes away before work tomorrow.

Wonderful piece and yes I felt the same as you on the last book of the series, though the bit Al had at the end was worthy a 'lmfao' award. Thanks again for writing this awesome story and I hope they live out their "happy ever after."

So first off DON'T HATE ME...I did something sacrilegious. When I saw it wasn't Rachel at the bar, I got pissed and skipped to the end. I was hoping Rachel would've walked in on them or that the woman was a demon trying to trick Ivy and that Rachel had to save her life in the end...
I was wrong.
Thus, my jaw hit the floor when yes the woman was a demon so to speak, but she was in fact our very own Rachel (hallelujah...wait, is it sacrilegious to praise smut fic?). Thankfully, I went back and read the top part too. :)

Also, a long while ago I read your Mackinaw River fic back then my name was Etain-Lives! It was fun to know that you to had to had changed your moniker. If I hadn't said it before I'll say it now- I'm in love with your work! Do keep writing!

Great one-shot! Sorry to see you quit this fandom, though I understand :( I just recently found this series and burned through them all in a few short months. When you read them compressed like that you get a sense that is forgetting a little short story about how Rachel was bound to Trent as a kid or something. That's the only way I can explain Rachel's obsession with Trent to begin with, then forgive him for murdering people, putting her in the rat fights to possibly be killed, trying to bash her head in and was willing to hit her with a memory charm. Then somehow she forgets all of that and falls in love with him?
