How big is the age gap?

Hey it is 4 year since you wrote this story, I have just finished it today and I must say it was a great story. Stories don’t have to be long with lots of chapters if you can write as good as this story in few chapters. Thanks for sharing.

Never finished another fanfic this fast. I really loved it, in every way. It always breaks my heart when our amazing Kurt is going through something terrible tho. But seriously, really good writing! I both cried and laughed.

Even though it was over the worst circumstance, glad we finally got to meet Burt and see him and Blaine connecting in some way.

It's truly heartbreaking that Kurt has been trapped in an abusive and manipulative relationships from the very start. For example, the fact that Frank did not even let Kurt take his childhood photographs should've set off warning bells in him. It's such a shame he was too in love to not have seen that sooner.

Hopefully (and I'm writing this as someone who's just finished reading this for the first time) Blaine bringing Burt back to Kurt will give Kurt the strength to leave Frank. Not only that, but hopefully it gives them a chance to rekindle their relationship.

Emma! Hi! So sorry that it took FOREVER to get these final reviews to you. Life got in the way a bit these last couple of weeks. Also, these reviews are written super late- it's 2am right now- so sorry for any typos or grammar mistakes in them! Hopefully you still understand what I mean! Anyway, on with this chapter:

Loved that we got to see a bit of Kurt bonding with Nick at the beginning of this chapter! And Jeff and Blaine's bromance is just the cutest thing ever! Haha and I loved how Kurt and Blaine spent more time making out than cooking dinner for everyone :')

Also, Frank is the world's biggest asshole. How dare he use Blaine's dream to blackmail Kurt. Don't know if it's possible but this line: "You make me look good, Kurt," just made me hate him more.

I also don't trust Frank's word on promising not to harm Kurt anymore. He cannot be trusted.

The way Kurt spoke to Blaine broke my heart. Mainly because Kurt told Blaine he didn't love him which would have really deeply hurt Blaine because Kurt is like the sun and the moon to him. Hopefully he can find it within himself to fight for Kurt despite what all Kurt said.

No words can begin to describe how proud I am of you, hun. I am so, so happy for you.
I know English isn't your first language and you've finished your first multi-chaptered fic. You didn't quit and stuck through the very end. I can assume this wasn't easy but you did what all author do. It's work and dedication. And I admire the dedication you've put in this.
I still hate the fact I was unable to continue as your beta until the very end. I wish I could have had been with you when you completed your first big fic.
The story you created was amazing. There were twist and turns I didn't see coming. Frank was cheating on Kurt from before the wedding!? That one was a shocker. I assumed Frank began cheating on Kurt DURING their marriage. I assumed Frank cheated when he realized Kurt was not his soulmate.
It was so cute of Blaine to have reached out to Burt to help Kurt. Blaine knew Kurt needed help, so he got his dad. And both of the Hummels fixed their relationship. That was amazing.
By the way there were a few quotes in the chapters that I absolutely LOVED. One of the quotes is said by Blaine, "There's no dream if you aren't by my side." Blaine's dream was to open a restaurant but that dream is nothing if he doesn't have his guy, Kurt, by his side.
I love when Kurt stood up to Frank and told him he had nothing with him. Blaine has everything and Frank has nothing. Yeah! Stand up to the jerk, Kurt.
I was honestly happy that Kurt didn't sue Frank. I liked how they settled it. Just get a divorce and that's it. Leave each other without any more problems. Cause what if this gives Frank a motive to go after Kurt for suing him.
And it was funny and shocking at the same time when Blaine punched Frank in the face. BAM! Haha. I just pictured Frank fall back and instantly have a bloody nose. Haha.
But I love how both boys had a happy ending! They opened up their own restaurant with all their old employees. And Blaine proposed to Kurt! Kurt mended his old friendships and even got to know Blaine's parents. Frank got what he deserved and went out of business. He cursed his actions and wished he had Kurt back.
Well too late Frank. Too late!
Amazing fic, darling. I'm am incredibly proud of you.

Loved the whole domestic Klaine moment in the begging of this chapter!

One thing that surprised me though was, after Kurt's confession that Frank raped him, Blaine didn't try to persist him to file a case? I guess the one little pointer I have for this story is that everyone is so casual about Frank and Kurt's situation when they should technically be attempting to make Kurt seek out professional help for the matter despite his resistance.

I love Jeff in this story! He ships Klaine so hard it's funny :') Loved this part:

"Nick?" Jeff, who witnessed one of the most beautiful kisses, whispered his boyfriend with his eyes still on the kissing boys.

"Yeah?" Nick looked up at Jeff.

"As cheesy as that was, I ship them so hard."

Nick smiled at him and agreed. "Me too."

First and foremost, so sorry it's taking so long to get these reviews to you, Emma! Confession: I actually couldn't control myself and read till the end of this story haha! Shhh don't tell anyone though. Technically it's all your fault for writing such a gripping story :')

Anyway, on with the review for this chapter!

Just quickly wanted to point out something that a reader once told me when I used to write FF and that is: Don't be overly descriptive. For example, you don't always need to describe the movies the characters are watching but in this case, in this chapter, it had a direct connection to the plot so that's okay.

This chapter was so bittersweet! My emotions were just all over the place because of how much Kurt means to Blaine. Even the simplest things Kurt does seems to mean the world to Blaine and that's so beautiful.

I loved this part so much:

"Wow, this looks very good," Kurt said, impressed.

"Who do you think I am? Of course it does," Blaine smirked and got a head shaking from Kurt and both boys laughed.

Hahaha Blaine's sass :')

One of he most beautiful things about the sex scene in this chapter- which was really hot, by the way- was the way Blaine kept reminding Kurt how beautiful he is. It's just shows us how in love with this man Blaine is!

Another great chapter, one of my favourites in this story so far!

Frank is a monster. He doesn't even know whether Kurt is really staying with Blaine so what gives him the right to fire Blaine?! And to use Blaine's dream against him was just low.

And I can't believe Peter ratted Blaine out! What is his problem?!

I really love how you're developing and forming this lovely friendship between Kurt, Blaine, Jeff and also Nick amidst all the drama surrounding Kurt.

This story is so engaging, it's hard to put down haha!

I could relate so much to Blaine in this chapter. A lot of the things you wrote were so understandable.
You know my whole current situation with you know who. But all the things you wrote for Blaine, I could understand him. He was happy to have lunch with Kurt and it felt like a little date for him, even though it wasn't. He felt happiness whenever he's with Kurt.
And my favorite line that you wrote, "he was falling for him harder and harder with each day." This story of yours is full with feels.
Thank you for writing such a beautiful piece. I had to put down my phone from reading and let the words sink in because they were so relatable.
Okay enough about me, this is about you. Haha.
And I loved how Kurt shared his fear of being alone with Blaine. And Blaine made him feel all better. "You're not alone."
And Blaine told Kurt he loved him. And I knew all along the two of them were gonna have sex because when you wrote earlier in the chapter that Jeff was gonna be with Nick all night, I knew that Blaine and Kurt would have sex since they would be alone in the house.
And yep, they did. *Wink.*

"Of course you can."

I had to skim through the chapters and my old reviews to see what had happened n this story. And I'm all caught up now. I'll be reviewing this story but they will all be outdated because this fic is already finished but I assumed you would care, right?
Frank found out Blaine has a crush on Kurt. Oh no. Dumb Peter. Mind your own business.
Burt visited but it's too bad he and Kurt aren't close. I'm sure the two of them will be fine. Prediction, they'll be fine.
Frank is such a snake. He tried using Blaine's dream against him to rat out Kurt. I wonder what happens at the end of this fic to Frank. Ugh.
And he even fired Blaine! I assume he did it to hurt Kurt. Or he did it so Kurt would come out of hiding and RETURN to Frank. Snake.
By the way, Fettuccine Alfredo is my favorite! I order it all the time when I go to this restaurant here in the US called, "Olive Garden."
