This was really great! I love some well written fluffiness, especially with this couple, and especially if it gets sprinkled with bits of angst and humor. Well done!

GAH I really enjoyed reading this and it has given me a LOT of feels agshsjdk. Needless to say, I loved Gibbs' slow seduction *thud* but also there were some hilarious bits ;D Kate wondering if someone had been pissing in his coffee cracked me up and then the part where he was 'trying hard to stare her to death' - I like! It's witty and it's Kate, and you've definitely captured her voice well in this - it was right on. There were so many good moments/lines, I can't pick my favorites :D But two things that I really liked: when Kate makes a writing reference (when she was like, oh, Gibbs uses a tone of voice that requires an exclamation point and then the sentence/his line ended with an exclamation point... idk I thought that was v cool!) and how you give details about what's happening via Kate's thoughts, i.e. all the hawtness that's happening, but heightened because you get to see it from her POV/what she's feeling and thinking at that moment... if that makes sense. If I didn't see the 'fin' at the end, I'd demand a sequel :D but this certainly works great on its own *hearts* soo yay!

I'm always amazed at the different scenarios you create with Kate and Gibbs. Each one creates scenes that are believable and unique even though the ultimate goal is Kibbs. This has to be one of my favorites. I especially like the setting on the back porch, sitting on the step. You've dealt well with the dilemma Kate faces knowing Rule 12 and recognizing that a one night stand is out of the question for her. I'm ready to rewatch Reveille now knowing I can read this as a follow up. Some favorite lines:

- "as if it will explain the mysteries of the universe and Gibbs. (She's not sure which needs more explanation.)"

- "She's not really holding up her end of the conversation, which is mildly amusing given who she's talking with..."

Your UST descriptions are some of the very best I've read. Thank you for keeping us entertained!

This was sweet and cute and very funny and I'm sad we never saw it in or on the RL show.

Absolutely love this, have made it a favourite already. I always wanted more after Reveille ended and your story handles it perfectly. Noticed you haven't marked it complete - feeling hopeful.
