sfiddy chapter 1 . 7/17/2018
I am a proud, frazzled parent of one clever early talker and one clever, quiet child, both with ADD.

I may identify a bit strongly with the sewer crew here.

I loved this-this was sooo sappy and lovely! The characters were, well, in character, and I loved how your story flowed so well and how everything ties together :) Also, I can totally relate to Erik's problem because I ah also used to think my dad had the answers to all questions...
Really enjoyed this family story, loved your interpretation of how Erik's been transformed with parenthood!

Okay, so I loved this.
1. I love your style. The mixture of satire and sweetness is beautiful, and you craft humor naturally and eloquently. XD
2. The SUBJECT. THANK YOU. *offers heartfelt handshake* Not just a cute little daughter, but also a point.
Riene chapter 1 . 5/30/2016
*smiles* I can just see any child of his being an absolute little tyrant demanding attention.

Haven't been on FF in years but I recognised an old favourite fic of mine on a fic rec list, and LO you actually had one from 2015 that I hadn't read yet. It fills my heart with the same amusement and adoration as the other ones about Erik and Christine's children. ;

Sweet and funny )
inkblottales chapter 1 . 7/12/2015
I always enjoy stealing a glance in Erik’s mind no matter how quick that glance is…
And despite the shortness of the one-shot, I got a full taste of Erik’s domestic life where cute, sweet, practical and rational thinking are all combined into one. They were all very sweet and very in character-what more can one ask?
Except for another story of course ;-)
FantomPhan33 chapter 1 . 6/27/2015
awwwww, that was downright adorable. I do love your Erik all in a tizzy about kids. You write it so well. And what a darling his daughter turned out to be. Sheesh, I am shocked he has not punjabbed himself by now with all her questions.
And yes, NEVER write on a child's drawings! Are you MAD?
Very cute story.
Good job!

Lol this is so cute!
emeraldphan chapter 1 . 6/1/2015
I loved your other family stories and this one is a perfect addition to your collection! She certainly is her father's daughter, isn't she?! I'm really glad Erik and Christine sorted out their misunderstandings too - pregnancy can bring out so many problems in a regular marriage but in a marriage like this it could be a timebomb! A great story.
Guest chapter 1 . 5/29/2015
That was so cute oh my goodness. Gotta love Papa!Erik.
Mominator124 chapter 1 . 5/29/2015
Aww, how adorable. :) Erik is just as patient of a father as I'd like to think he would be.

It's sad to think of him not truly believing that Christine would stay with him even after marriage, until a child came along, and it seems almost manipulative of him to think that she would HAVE to stay because of it, but I'm glad he has relaxed in response. (Obviously divorce and custody issues have not crossed his mind. ;D)

LOVED his thoughts on a hormonal pregnant woman.

I'm sure it's due to reading this immediately after "Relative," but I kept trying - rather unsuccessfully - to picture THAT Erik in the role of that little girl's father. I'm not sure HE would ever regain the ease of emotional access he had as a child.

Thank you for such a sweet (and true!)* story.

*My grandson was a late talker - he was nearly three - but once he started, it took YEARS for him to shut-up. O_o
