the absolute last sentence broke me into tears. I think Tom will always have problems from this and it just is hard to know that. but the fact that Hardy is stepping up makes me super happy.

This was brilliant. Your characterizations were spot on. It was very easy to hear their voices in each line. The exchange where Miller asks Hardy to dinner was so perfect that I could see it happening in the show. I loved the comments about the cupboard.

I would eagerly devour a follow up. :)

I still have only seen the US version and I read the third chapter of this first (yeah, yeah, what can I say, my brain wasn’t there), and I still just loved this. It just captures the tone so perfectly. I can certainly see Tom turning to Hardy — where else should he go — and their shared concern over Tom is really such a great connecting moment, a catalyst for everything that is under the surface. All those little moments — choosing the pizza — and what an ending! So looking forward to getting Hardy’s perspective:-)

ahhh, the feels... this was just perfection. So wonderfully written and so them. The whole bit where he thought she invited him to stay over... brilliant. I could literally see them in the scene. And then all that follows... when she's trying to rile him up and he's just staying calm, letting her work through, just being there, even if hse hurts him (because let's face it, Ellie hasn't always been nice to Hardy either, even if he's the grump). And then the whole scene with the moonlight lit kitchen... ah, my heart! Amazing stuff. Thank you for writing,sharing and I CAN'T wait for Alec's POV (as I am clearly very attached to Alec I always want to read more and I know you will do a wonderful job as youhave done in th past). Love it!

This was so great. I liked every moment of it. Trying to figure out what I should comment on, but there was just so much good stuff in it. Loved the bit where he is comforting her and then shielding her from Tom, that's totally something he would do (or at least in my head he would). Also really liked the all the hints at how important the Millers are becoming to him... he gave Tom his number, he ditched his interview, he's just there for them. Love the whole Tom-Alec theme... I think you very much nailed it! Thanks for sharing.

I love this story! I really liked the bit about her wondering if Tess kept him in a cupboard and only took him out when she needed him. You write both of them really well and I can't wait for more from Hardy's POV!

You must write more! This is brilliant and I need to know what happens next :-)
