Truth be told, I read this story about a month ago, but didn't have the time to review at the time. However, this story was too good to pass up NOT reviewing.

Your story made me feel, and it was brilliantly written. Every emotion that Ash and Serena felt, I felt with them. Only once before in a completely different fandom was I able to feel such a depth of emotions when reading. They were all believably in character, yet plumbed that depths of emotion. I really do tip my hat to you and your brilliance. To be honest, I could only hope to capture 1/10th of the emotion that you've captured in your story with my own. Honestly, if I go any further, I'll just keep repeating myself.

Bottom line: I loved your story and I am planning on reading Heartbeat the next chance I get. Thanks you for sharing such a great story.

i shed a tear when both of them said they wish for Ash and Serena to always be happy togethet. 10/10 no doubt.

This story is so awesome, I particularily like the part where she asks him what couples do,with him not knowing the answer and suddenly her kissing him, believe me im no romantic but I like all the stories where Ash&Serena end up together in that way because my own dare I say "love life"isnt so bright, I like seeing the couple Ash&Serena for rhe story you rock

I'd been following this story for a while as it was being written, and I have to say throughout it was wonderfully written! I especially liked the scene of Ash's late-night run with his Pokemon to figure out his feelings. I suspect the fact that Pikachu and Fletchinder were the most excited was drawing back to the beginning when Serena first asked Ash if he remembered her, as both ran off in the anime at that moment.

Sorry for not reviewing throughout my reading, I tend to do better at keeping constant reviews going if I catch a story at the first chapter or 2. Looking forward to your new story that you just released, the summary and first paragraph already have me interested.
