Oh no... Thos is a streak of the Doctor that we know all to well, and unfortunately it had to be used on poor Rose. Not that she can't take care of herself mind you, but the Doctor is going to be in so much trouble especially when she finds out. This is brilliant, I loved how this is coming together no matter how dark it may be. Nin is one of my favorite Doctors. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

This is alarming! Please forgive if I have forgotten something from earlier that gives the answer; but dose this Nine eventually evolve into the 'real' cannon, 'her' Nine; or is this an entirely other, AU Nine and any thing goes? The responses of the TARDIS could strongly argue for the first, but don't TARDIS like time capsules(being 11th? dimensional beings) more or less live infinite time lines all at the same time? So the TARDIS could still know Rose from the 'original' time line, even if this is a different branch? If fully AU, will Rose come to understand this? An overly bent doctor, who STAYS bent is a hazard to the (multi-)universe and would have to be REMOVED. If not by BADWOLF than by who? I'm not really expecting feed back to all that, although I would never turn it down. Going to 'behave' and check any notes to the first Chapter.

So I really like where this is headed! Your idea is solid, and you seem to be making a conscious effort to avoid plot holes and anything else that would interfere with the time line of the show, which I very much appreciate. I like your characterization of Rose, I think you're doing really well there. Your Nine is pretty good, too, though there are a few places where it feels a little off. My main advice to you is to watch your pacing. Don't force too much trust or relationship between rose and nine before they're ready, and definitely watch Nine getting over the war too quickly. I know you said he's good at hiding things, but it needs to be a bit clearer that there's something for him to hide. I can't wait to see where this goes!
