I just recently found this fic and, oh my, its simply amazing! Im pretty glad you were able to revisit this and hope you continue writing since I cant wait to see how it unfolds further down the road and it would be sad to leave this great piece of work unfinished.
Im especially curious what Angeals wings will look like when hes cured (and hopefully comes to terms with the situation) and what his additional power will be (I always hated the fact that he died in CC). He used something like a quake-materia in Crisis Core to shove Zack down from the plate and seemed to be a rather grounded and balanced person, before the whole mess, so maybe an earth affinity and dusted white-gold wings?

I am so glad I sorted through everything and find this, It was amazing and frustrating to no end to read, I should count my self amongst the lucky few that came much much later. Thank you so very much for sharing this story with us.

About the Remake, how far along are you already? I finished my 1st playthrough and I captured 14Gb worth of photos and video. But I think because of my pacing I don't want to return to it yet. Since I don't know how far a long you are I can't discuss much but mind blowing that last few chapters wasn't it.

A Turk on a mission wouldn't leave her post like this. Hell, I think a normal person wouldn't but given that the Turk operated pretty much like how you describe them, no one would really know where she was to look for her, the one who know wouldn't remove her from her post. She herself wouldn't leave her post, anyone who want to talk to her could just you know call.

I also go a bit in the next chapter, no suspicion? That must been a hell of a conversation because if you just not show up then she would return on the double if she have more than 2 brain cells

I know this is needed to advance the story but it feel very weak in the overall story, which was amazing, confusing at time but amazing nonetheless.

I just spent most of the day reading this in its entirety and I really dig Ryo as an OC. Normally the modern girl entering a fandom war trope in fanfiction comes with a lot of cliches that just put me off them in some way. Not in your case! I love the pacing and the fact that you're very focused on telling a story. This isn't just an OC who appears by some means into another world and conveniently meets the canon character the author wants to pair her with first and they find her so fascinating they can't focus on anything else and of course, they fall in love in a few chapters and some effort at plot is thrown in there somewhere.

I really love a good slow burn and I've always wanted to follow the journey of a character from our world who found themselves in Gaia and you're doing all of that. I'm completely drawn in by the plot, I love all the other character interactions, and Ryo is really likable and interesting. I think my favorite part is that a large part of the emotional focus is on Genesis, Angeal, and Sephiroth coping with the truth of ShinRa's experimentations.

Often what turns me off fics like this is that authors spend a lot of time focusing on drama that just concerns the OC with some liberal doses of comfort thrown her way. I know a lot of that is for the sake of fantasy fulfillment and I don't begrudge the authors for doing it but I always feel that the canon characters are done something of a disservice because their own character arcs revolve so much around supporting the OC and that we don't really get to see them work through a lot of things that many people take to reading fanfiction to see resolved. So, it's been really enjoyed reading the way you're building on the bond shared between Genesis, Angeal, and Sephiroth. I think you strike the perfect balance between OC development and canon character development.

I look forward to seeing where this story goes. So much so, in fact, that while reading I was shocked to realize I had come to the end of the chapters. I looked up and it's almost 12 am. and I started reading at 1 pm. but I swear, it felt like no time had passed at all. Your story worked it's magic on me. No regrets either, I don't even feel like I lost a day because this fic is just that good. I'm hooked!

I am yelling incoherently. I decided that I had time and that sleep was for the weak and binged this story in a day. I love it. I love what you're doing. You're going about this in a very interesting direction in terms of who your character is and what Ryo can do.

I am eagerly awaiting an update and hope that many more come.

I have just gotten into Final Fantasy 7 with the Remake releasing and am starved for self-insert from another world. I've read this chapter and I am already hooked into it. You can expect more reviews from me as I read this.

First off, I love how this story starts. Our girl is a being made of mako it seems? Ethereal and glowing but becoming more human. I like, I like.

I just binged this story over the weekend and I want to say I love it. And I hope you can get better and start writing again because I really hope this story gets more love
