I know it’s been a year, but I really hope you updated. Been waiting son patiently. You have a wonderful talent for writing. And I really miss this story. The way you wrote the relationship between Shelby and Rachel is just beautiful.

Pretty please update ! I’ve reread this story start to finish 4 times in the last 4 months. It’s easily one of my favorite Rachel / Shelby stories. You have such a beautiful way of writing their relationship. And I would love to see this story continued as it has such great potential.

You did a good job showcasing Shelby's vulnerabilities regarding her feelings about giving up Rachel. She feels the need to always put up a strong and protective front over Rachel that she forgets she is also human and has fears. Shelby should talk to Rachel about it and I bet that Rachel will help Shelby get through it. Talking about it will definitely strengthen their relationship.

OMG, I love Shelby and Rachel's banter. Their mother/daughter relationship is so sweet! Maybe in one chapter, Rachel should just surprise Shelby by wearing pants lol. Maybe change her clothing style to something more modern to mess with Shelby. Rachel would get a kick out of that haha.

For more ideas, maybe you can include something dramatic between mother and daughter. Maybe a certain situation where something happens in school and Rachel is accused of something she didn't do. The worst part is that Shelby doesn't believe her and punishes her unfairly. I think there are always moments in life where mother/daughter bonds are tested. As always, I would love to see more bonds between the two.

Thanks for the update, was super excited to see it! I feel awful for Shelby still struggling with the guilt of giving Rachel up. I think she should be honest with R about this. Think it’s important for R to see that S struggles too and for her to understand how the adoption has affected her mom. It may even bring them closer together. Loved all the mother/daughter bonding this chapter. Their banter is hilarious. Looking forward to more!
