I had my dad check out some of the uses with the military talk and he said they were perfect. He’s retired Army but I didn’t stick around for talking with his joeys much. I was too busy writing when we were in that lifestyle. Sure do miss the military, though I still love Old Army better than his New Army. New Army is a bunch of whimps pretending to be soldiers. In my experience. Dunno about those Marines though. They’re crazy even compared to my dad. And he’s a bit crazy when it comes to ideas. Haha.

A good way to end a story. When you get around to it i would love to read a sequel to it. Maybe it could be about when they have kids or something.

Loved the story. Every word of it. Your writing style is lovely and the flow of the story wasn't too fast or too slow. Even the time lapses were perfectly placed, and they helped to skip over events that didn't need to be plotted out day by day, like Sara's recovery stages.
