You kept switching between 'him' and 'her' to referring Light. It's confusing me. If you made L said that, it's possible that he's teasing Light, and i got no problem for that. But in the narration you also kept doing that. Randomly switching from 'she' to 'he' and 'her' to 'him' . and it's annoy me, sorry no offense, but you should stay consistent.

Oh yes, ofc. Because Detective's job is to pry at anything that anyone don't know. Yeah, I kept remembering one of Sherlock Holmes' quote haha.

The personality of Lights mom is endearing. And i enjoy L's cynical and sarcastic comments, they're entertaining. Although Light seems very OOC, even acknowledging that he has no memories. Light is normally very logical and calculating, even when he was innocent and in captivity. But at the moment he seems to be an emotional mess. Im interested to see where the story will go, and look forward to the next chapter. Nice work.

Hey, I guess I'm spoiled. So used to getting a chapter everyday or at the most every other day that when you update on a more normal time interval I panic. I was checking my review history almost four times a day, hoping to see the date in orange.

Umm, do you still have a beta? I became worried when I saw a mistake in the first sentence of this chapter. Adding that with the rookie mistakes you made in the previous chapter, well...

The chapter was mostly fluff, but i do find the changing character dynamics interesting and am interested to see how the plot will result out of this.
I do very much like the line, 'i don't know why anymore, but i love you'.

Wow when i think about how it must feel for L to live in such a cold unfeeling world, and to Light bring so much colour into his life, then lose her, its so very sad. And loving someone who doesnt love him back, is one of the most painful things. I really love this story, it makes you feel. And i cant wait to readmore

I'm quite sad now that I've caught up, I'm going to have to...wait. But anyway, now that I'm back on track I would like to tell you that I love the symbolism and allusions you chose for this fiction. And I love the dialouge you chose to include for the flashback, I said this before, but that was one of my favorite scenes in the fic.
