I teared up at the end. The part where Yomo heard Hide's heartbeat stop hit me hard. And the framed collage of the happy pictures was just... uuuugh you kill me. SUCH a good read I think you got everyone's personalities down perfectly. Thanks for sharing!

This is simply beautiful. I was about to switch to another story when I caught sight of how many reviews you had, and was like, sixteen? SIXTEEN? Your story deserves so much more than that!

I love Hide's interactions with everyone, and those little suspicions and hints dropped here and there about his knowing and not knowing, and alluding to some deeper backstory here and there. You did really good on this one! I like how you left most of the original group of Anteiku alive, but...a little disappointed that Hide didn't return. That feeling when the sun finally appears again, though. It's a rather sad, yet hopeful ending. That life goes on.

Okay, I don't have much time right now, so here are my guesses. Dawn with Nishiki probably refers to the coldness of the night, not fully gone, but partly warmed by the sun. Aka Nishiki's devil may care attitude combined with Hide. Ps: I love the idea of Nishiki associating Hide with brightness in his subconscious. Sunrise with Koma should probably be the morning, the sun giving energy and symbolizing of youth, which leads to Koma reminiscing stories from his younger days. Noon with Irimi is when the sun is really hot, in the middle of the sky. Some think it's too late to start anything new by that time, but actually they can get something done...? Golden hour is the most obscure for me, so I'm throwing out a guess that it's the time to relax and have a cup of coffee, probably. Twilight with Hinami should symbolize the closing of a day, the sun's dimming radiance, and Hinami's diminishing trust in him. And sunset...his death. The sun's gone. Mourning is grief.

I might not be able to properly review at the moment because you have destroyed me with feels. Like, WHAT THE HECK~! I'm in a very solid state of denial because Hide is NOT DEAD! He's my favorite character and you do him such justice with these fics! The way you write him balances his happy-go-lucky attitude with his sharp-eye. Literally, THE most open minded character in the series. We all need more Hide in our lives, so he CAN'T be dead ;)
