Oh man, I'm here to 'complain' about boruto.

Canonically, he was the top of the class in everything. Even when the academy students had to cheat to pass the test, Boruto aced that test without extra effort.

You have just made him Naruto at this point.

But I just want to let you know that Boruto is not as stupid as sasuke's statement made it seem.
I'm sure if you're following anime or manga or any gaiden like sasuke gaiden. Everywhere its explicitly stated that that he is talented.

I have no qualms over your characterisation of Boruto at all, you can write however you want. In the same vein, I will read if I like it.

You haven't mentioned that Boruto will be OOC so I thought I should let you know. Of course, I haven't read all the chapters as of right now so this may be completely redundant.

And actually sasuke is OOC as well, anyway I'll just post this & continue to read to decide whether I should continue or not.

I love this fic so much! You've done a great job making a plot and storyline that I could actually see happening in the manga and anime. You are incredible! Can't wait to read the next chapter.

This is my ultimate favorite Boruto fanfiction (At least so far.) Only one has rivaled this, and then they made Boruto evil and I couldn’t like it :/
[flashbacks to times during the story when I was reminded of and had flashbacks to that fic]
There are very minor times where things are slightly different - Mitsuki most different, as in the anime he does know Orochimaru. Probably because of Orochimaru’s escape in this fic. So, very small AU, but I love it!
You also add a little bit of happy ending, which I like because it’s different from that other fic I mentioned. I forgot the name, but essentially after the Chunin Exams, Boruto goes rogue and learns stuff! And I loved that part of the story! But when it went downhill, I couldn’t like it anymore :c
This fic, however, has all the good and none of the bad, besides forgetting Denki like most people do. Maybe he’s an anime-only character? It’s kind of like forgetting Usopp from One Piece, or Joe Kido from Digimon. But forgetting Denki is fine, seeing as this appears to be the first time Boruto awakened his eye. So all that happening with Denki couldn’t have happened.
Basically - I love it! Even if it takes a while for you to write the next chapter, I’ll still check in! I mean, if I can wait for a Roblox game for like 3 years, I can wait for this.

However, there’s a couple things I’d personally like to be looked at in the future.
For example, you often use pronouns like “male” or “kunoichi” in substitute of character names. I’d like if you use their names more often, and save those pronouns above for rarer cases when the character is getting a lot of attention and their names seem repetitive. Using the names makes it feel more personal to me, as if I know the character being written about rather than observing a lab subject.
Sometimes it seems as if all the anger that Sarada and Boruto had towards their fathers in certain parts just disappears. Maybe I’m used to anger written as sticking around too long, but if they were that angry maybe a little more would show up. It doesn’t have that much of an effect.
(I don’t want to reposition that section or end on a sour note, so please re-read the parts where I say “I love this” because I honestly do and will wait like 5 years for the next chapter, by which point it will be even better because I’ve forgotten some things and will re-read and experience them again.)

You know, I really hope Sasuke and Sakura have another kid in the anime [though it probably won't happen]. It'd just really stir things up. And honestly, I really do wonder if Orochimaru is going to start up his antics again at some point, like he's done here.
