I want to be happy, but at the same time it breaks my heart for DICK due to the complexities there, and whether Bruce ever saw himself as a father with Dick, and poor Dick was left in limbo never knowing if Bruce saw him as a son, and whether he'd even be allowed to celebrate Father's day with Bruce...and darn it now I'm crying, realizing Dick meanwhile was sitting by himself in some rundown apartment, alone, one father in a grave (that's at the manor) and a father figure who fired him, then replaced him with a kid that apparently was good enough to adopt when Dick never was. |
